Godskitchen Boombox
After a year of planning… The ‘Godskitchen Boombox’ was revealed… as a unique architectural, multimedia, visual and music event concept.

The phenomenal structure was designed by the founders of 1024; the Parisian based design collective commonly known as the pioneers of structural projection and responsible for numerous art and cultural design installations across Europe. At 16 metres wide, 8 metres high and 6 metres deep the design of the structure combined with the bespoke projection technology combine with hidden lighting and special visual effects to create a stunning and unique immersive visual show incorporating three dimensional graphics mixed with real time video footage to create the unique Godskitchen Boombox visual show.
On Saturday 14th February, the Godskitchen Boombox was launched in Ukraine in front of a record breaking crowd of 16,000 people who descended upon the International Expo Centre in Kiev to witness the launch of this previously top secret project and in doing so became part of the highest attended indoor event in the countries history.
Since its inception in early 2009 the Godskitchen Boombox has wowed crowds and made waves across the world with tours in Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Russia, South Africa and its UK debut at GlobalGathering.
16,000 people saw DJ’s such as Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and David Guetta play in the Godskitchen Arena hosted in the largest tent in Europe. As the sun set the Boombox fired up and the crowd went wild becoming the talk of the festival.
It seems World class DJs clamber to play in the Godskitchen Boombox resulting in a regular sell out of these hot tickets for the tour including two venues in South Africa. Next up the Boombox will land in Australia for a whistle-stop tour in Sydney and Melbourne. It will then travel the globe and make its very welcome return visits to Ukraine and Belarus; it seems they can’t get enough of it!
The Godskitchen Boombox production team are consistently working together with creative designers ‘1024’ to ensure the tour stays fresh and delivers jaw dropping displays of visual production at its very best, this in turn has helped cement Godskitchen’s place as the number one pioneering electronic dance brand in the world.
Recent DJs who have taken to the Boombox include Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond, David Guetta, Markus Schulz, Eric Prydz, Sander Van Doorn, Judge Jules, Menno De Jong, Gareth Emery, Mark Eteson, Josh Gabriel and John Dahlback and that’s only so far this year!
